Founder & President
Mark Hickinbotham, P.E.
Mr. Hickinbotham is responsible for setting the strategic priorities for Sawcross Inc. As president and chief executive officer, Mark provides executive direction for the company’s operation.

Throughout his tenure in the industry, Mark has made efforts to secure and build all manner of projects from small lift stations to large water and wastewater treatment facilities.
Mark is passionate about providing a superior client experience where customers feel engaged, keeping the safety of craftworkers at the forefront of every project, ensuring that the quality of Sawcross products is unparalleled, creating opportunities for Sawcross team members to grow, and ensuring the Sawcross team has the resources necessary to execute brilliantly in all that they do.

Mark earned his degree in Mechanical Engineering from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, FL.
General Superintendent
Barry Milam
Mr. Milam has worked in the Florida construction industry for 30 years, with the past 27 years spent exclusively as a Sawcross Superintendent on industrial and municipal water and wastewater treatment plants, water pumping stations and sewer pumping station projects. Barry is extremely respected and well known in the industry for producing the very highest quality projects that are always on schedule. Knowledgeable in all facets of plant construction including demolition, sitework, prestressed concrete tanks, concrete, metal and masonry buildings, all types of piping including stainless, ductile, pvc, hdpe and steel, all types of equipment and pumps installations, instrumentation and electrical.
Comptroller
Debbie Shortz
Mrs. Shortz has over 35 years in construction accounting experience. In her role as Office Manager, she ensures the smooth operation of the day-to-day administration and financial functions of Sawcross. In addition to her duties as Office Manager, she manages all Accounts Receivables and prepares all financial Statements and Balance Sheets and works closely with the companywide CPA to complete yearly audits.
Vice President of Strategic Development
Drew Hickinbotham, Associate DBIA
Mr. Hickinbotham is responsible for overseeing strategic and emerging new markets. He has direct experience with water/wastewater treatment plants, high service pump stations and commercial construction. His leadership with Sawcross began at an early age in the field and evolved into project management, estimating and more recently, executive leadership.
Drew earned his degree in Construction Management from Auburn University in Auburn, AL.
Vice President of Operations
Kevin DiQuisto, Associate DBIA
Mr. DiQuisto is responsible for driving the daily organization and strategic goals for the Sawcross organization.
Prior to 2013 , when Kevin joined the Sawcross team he spent his early years in the civil site infrastructure development market.
Over the past two decades Kevin has used the principles of organization, accountability, discipline and persistence to lead the Sawcross team.

Kevin has provided leadership on numerous high-profile projects around the North and Central Florida water and wastewater markets. Kevin also serves as a State of Florida Certified General Contractor (CGC) and Underground Utility Contractor (CUC).
Kevin earned his degree in Music Business Management from Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA.
Preconstruction Services
Christina Parker
Mrs. Parker has worked in the construction industry for 9 years within the states of Virginia and Florida, with 5 years exclusively for Sawcross as the pre-construction services administration manager. She has direct experience in the preparation of bid proposals to ensure required documents are submitted by the mandatory deadlines. Her experience includes the involvement with preconstruction administration duties, such as, obtaining all required and pertinent information as outlined in the project documents, conducting local subcontractor outreach and market data collection to shape bid packaging.
Christina earned her degree in Business from Tidewater Community College in Chesapeake, VA.
Accounts Payable
Katie Pastore
Ms. Pastore is an accounts payable specialist and payroll manager with Sawcross, Inc. with over 5 years business experience in payroll and vendor management. She receives, researches, and resolves a variety of routine internal and external inquiries concerning account status, including communicating the resolution of any discrepancies. She reconciles various accounts by identifying errors in posting or omissions by applying appropriate accounting standards.
Director of Human Resources
Katie Lyons
Mrs. Lyons is a professional with 5 years of human resource management experience, exclusively with Sawcross. She has notable experience in strategic human resource planning, staffing, federal and state law compliance, employee benefits, compensation, employee relations, and training and development. She is responsible for providing strategic guidance and leadership for all aspects of the human resources function. This includes providing leadership and direction in the development of HR policies that promote maximum effectiveness in the Sawcross workforce while also supporting our mission.
